While working at the Better Business Bureau, I am able to use skills I have gained in my graduate program by creating news releases and reaching out to publications to help distribute our BBB newsletter. I was able to be apart of the annual golf classic which raised over 22,000, the most money raised in almost 24 years, this was possible with the help of our silent and live auctions.

Redemptions Accounts Clerk - Bank of New York Mellon
At BNY Mellon, my tasks included processing over 75 bills a week and performing quality control on all bills in order to assure there were no errors. Another function of the redemptions team was to monitor the program EPIC for any trades and forward that trade information to our clients.
I majored in Public Relations and Advertising at DePaul University's College of Communication. As part of my graduate program, I was able to study abroad in Spain as well as participate in the New York Way Study Group trip.
During my time at Colgate University, I majored in Women's Studies and minored in Writing and Rhetoric. I was president of the Black Student Union during my junior and senior year and received the Voice of Conscience award for my social justice efforts on campus.
